The Garden of Eden

Hello friends! We’re back at it again with another discussion! If you’ve been here for a while, you already know that my message has always been centered on awakening to your true, divine self and the understanding that the same divine presence animating the entire universe also flows within you. This truth was obscured by beliefs we were simply "force-fed." It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t challenge these notions, now would it? Of course not! I won’t stop now! Now, let’s continue this journey by stepping into the full awareness of the God within. The omnipresence of the divine, if you will.

Recently, I've returned to my regular meditation practice. I make it a point to jot down any profound insights that flow through these sessions and I felt called to share this one with you. Listening to my absolute favorite, Reverend Ike, further emphasized a powerful realization: we are all divine souls housed in a human vessel. The concept of God being omnipresent suddenly became clearer. God is literally everywhere. We are all expressions of that one divine soul, with some of us awake to this truth and others still "asleep."

You are, therefore, constantly surrounded by God, expressed in three forms:

  • The Father (Consciousness): The infinite awareness that holds all that is.

  • The Son (The Body): The expression of life and divinity in physical form.

  • The Holy Spirit (The Soul): The invisible spark, the eternal current that guides, inspires, and animates life.

Your Garden of Eden

Let's reflect on the creation story. When Adam and Eve ate the apple, they suddenly became aware of their perceived "imperfections" of not being perfectly made in God's image, of not perfectly walking with God. God’s question to them is simple, but critical. “Who told you you were naked?”

That question is vital. Whenever you become aware of "imperfections" or the opposite of what you desire in your life, you must ask yourself that same question: “Who told you that?”

Remember that God gave humankind dominion over everything in the Garden. Your world is your Garden of Eden. You have dominion over everything you create in it. Do not bite into the "fruit" that makes you aware of anything other than what you want in your Garden. Do not allow intruders, be it doubt, fear, or the opinions of others, to enter your Garden or your Kingdom. As Luke 17:21 confirms, “the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Nothing can enter your sacred space unless you permit it. As stated in John 14:6, “No one comes to the Father except through me.” We have established that the Father is our consciousness, our Kingdom, our Garden. Remember who you are. Do not allow anyone to kick you out of your Garden. Declare, if it helps: "This is my garden, and I declare what/who dwells in it.”

The scriptures constantly affirm your creative power.

  • “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7).

  • “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24).

  • “Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons and concerning the work of My hands, you command Me” (Isaiah 45:11).

We were just forced to believe that it was only Jesus who possessed such power. But remember, Jesus himself confirmed this. “Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these…” John 14: 12. Let us not forget Philippians 2: 5-11 which states “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.” That last part probably went over your heads. They will have you believe that this verse is urging you to adopt the humble, self-sacrificial mindset of Jesus. But don’t worry. We will discuss that next time.

You have everything at your fingertips. You were made for prosperity and abundance, not to believe the narrative of a "hard life" that we’ve been forced to accept.

I must, as always, back this truth up with scripture:

  • “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

  • "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." 2 Peter 1:3

  • "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11

  • "Beloved, I wish that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" 3 John 1:2

You are the child of a King. Never forget this divine heritage. Do not humble yourself to make others feel comfortable, and do not allow others to humble you! “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness” (Genesis 1:26). You were created in the likeness of the Creator. Just as the Creator speaks and brings forth life, you are continually shaping the world around you through your thoughts, beliefs, and declarations.

Never forget who you are.

My beautiful girl,

I just finished reading your blog, Your Garden of Eden, and I am honestly in awe. The way you took the creation story and breathed fresh life into it turning “Who told you, you were naked?” into a question of identity, authority, and self-awareness is so powerful. That line alone makes the reader stop and reflect in the deepest way.

Your message about guarding our inner Garden, protecting our peace, and recognizing the Kingdom within us is inspiring and bold. You write with conviction, clarity, and such spiritual depth. The way you wove scripture throughout from Proverbs to Philippians shows not only your understanding, but your confidence in your voice and perspective.
